Timber Panels
Known for its exceptional durability and reliability, the external cladding of Hide is formed in Tricoya panels – a leading modified wood timber technology. Tricoya offers peace of mind with a 25 year in-ground and 50 year above ground guarantee.

Insulation
The HIDE structure is formed in Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) manufactured in Clonmel in Tipperary by SureFinishing. The SIPs are filled with insulation made from Rapeseed which is harvested locally. SIPs are a modern alternative to traditional timber framed construction.

Steel Door
Hide’s steel door and glazed screen are fabricated by our team in Chapelizod using profiles imported from Switzerland. Hot rolled steel profiles have been used for more than a century to define the character and enhance the beauty of commercial, institutional and residential buildings.

Timber window frame
Our skilled craft workers and joiners make Hide’s timber windows from Accoya® wood. Accoya® has properties that exceed those of the world’s best woods yet it is manufactured by modifying wood sourced from well-managed sustainable forests without the introduction of toxins.

Interior panels
Plywood has a minimal and elegant beauty, thanks to its smooth pale finish. For the interior of Hide, we used the highest-grade birch plywood panels to ensure greater strength, uniform colour and no knots or streaks.

Interior flooring
Intended for use in the transport industry, WISA-Hexa was chosen for the flooring of each Hide. WISA-Hexa is a high-performance plywood coated with a protective film and decorative hexagonal pattern.
